Online personal training and coaching

You train on your own time, at whatever gym you're near. Your coach writes the program, reviews your lift videos, adjusts the plan each week and answers questions. It costs less than in-person sessions and works anywhere with a phone.

Who this is for

  • You travel for work and every week is a different gym
  • You like training alone but want someone to write the plan
  • You've done in-person training and want to keep going for less
  • Your schedule doesn't fit a fixed appointment
  • You want accountability without someone standing over you
  • You live outside the areas trainers drive to

What's included

A written program

Four to six weeks at a time, built around your equipment and days available.

Form review

You film a set, the coach sends back notes or a short voice memo.

Weekly check-ins

A written review of the week plus adjustments to loads, volume or exercise choice.

Messaging

Questions answered within a business day.

Nutrition habits

Optional non-medical nutrition coaching alongside the training plan.

How online coaching works

  1. Video call. Thirty to forty-five minutes on your goal, equipment, schedule and training history.
  2. Program delivered. Your plan arrives in a coaching app, with demonstration videos for every exercise.
  3. Train and log. You log sets, reps and weights, and film key lifts when the coach asks.
  4. Weekly review. Your coach reviews the log and videos, sends notes, and adjusts the next week.
  5. Monthly call. A longer check-in to look at the trend and reset the plan if needed.

What affects the price

  • Check-in frequency: weekly or twice a month.
  • Whether nutrition coaching is included.
  • Monthly or quarterly billing.
  • Any in-person sessions mixed in.

You get the per-session or monthly price before you commit to anything.

Online coaching from Tampa

A lot of Tampa Bay residents work for companies based elsewhere, and many of them travel. Online coaching started here as a way to keep in-person clients on track during travel weeks, and it's now a format on its own. It also suits people in Plant City, Apollo Beach and the far ends of Pasco County where an in-home trainer's drive time makes sessions expensive.

Common questions

Is online coaching as good as in-person?

For people who already know the basic lifts and will film them, it's close. Complete beginners usually do better starting with a few in-person sessions first.

What app do you use?

A coaching app with exercise videos, logging and messaging. You'll see it on the first call.

What equipment do I need?

Whatever you have. Programs are written for a full gym, a hotel gym or a pair of dumbbells at home.

Can I mix online and in-person?

Yes. A common setup is online programming with one in-person session a month to check form.
